What It Is

Bust Your Brass Conditioner continues the toning and repair work of the shampoo through the conditioning step. Purple pigment maintains the cool blonde result while bond repair actives and hydrating emollients address the moisture loss and structural damage that bleach causes. For bleached or highlighted hair that is both brassy and dry, this conditioner works on both problems simultaneously.

Use it every time you use the Bust Your Brass Shampoo, and on other wash days with your regular conditioner to avoid over-toning.

How To Use

Use it on the same 1-2 days per week that you use the Bust Your Brass Shampoo. On other wash days, use a regular conditioner. Using both toning products every wash can over-deposit violet over time.
It’s lower pigment concentration than the shampoo, so less likely at standard timing. Very pale or platinum hair could see a violet cast if left on for extended periods. Rinse after 2-3 minutes for most hair types.
It’s hydrating for a toning conditioner, but very dry or heavily bleached hair may need additional moisture. Adding the Bust Your Brass Toning Mask weekly and a leave-in like Amika Supernova Cream or Water Sign Oil post-wash will address significant dryness.
Colour-safe and sulphate-free. The purple pigment only deposits visibly on light hair — on dark hair it won’t show and has no effect on dark colour.
The 275ml is a good starting size. The 1000ml is available as part of the Bust Your Brass 1000ml Duo with the shampoo — better value for committed system users.
