We curate only the very best: Davines, Kevin Murphy, Eufora, Amika, Sachajuan, and more. Each brand shares our commitment to quality, performance—and where possible, sustainability.

Most of our professional‑grade products have a shelf life of 2–3 years unopened. After opening, look for the little “PAO” icon (e.g., 12M means 12 months)—that tells you how long to use them once opened.

Retours

All Canadian orders will now be shipped via UPS. For U.S. orders, packages will ship with Chit Chats and be delivered by USPS (Chit Chats U.S. Edge service, estimated 5–11 business days).

🇨🇦 Canada Shipping

Flat Rate:

  • $10 CAD for all orders under $100
  • Free UPS Standard Shipping on orders $100 and up

Carrier:

  • All orders are currently shipped via UPS Standard (replacing Canada Post during the strike).

Estimated Delivery:

  • 3–7 business days, depending on location.

🇺🇸 United States Shipping

All U.S. orders are shipped with duties and taxes prepaid, so the price you see is the price you pay — no surprises at delivery!

We offer three convenient options:

1. Chit Chats U.S. Edge – Duties PAID

  • $10 USD Flat Rate
  • For orders $0.00–$99.99 USD
  • Estimated delivery: 5–11 business days
  • Full tracking included

2. FREE Standard Shipping – Duties PAID

  • FREE for orders $100.00 USD and up

Processing & Delivery

  • Orders are processed within 2–5 business days (Monday–Friday).
  • Delivery timelines vary by location and service selected.
  • Tracking information is provided once your order ships.

If there’s ever an issue with your order, you’ll be notified within 2 business days.

Peak Periods

During high-volume times (such as Black Friday, Boxing Day, or holidays), order processing and delivery may take longer.

Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. Moda Salon is not responsible for delays or mis-delivery caused by incorrect information.

Delivery Concerns

  • If your order arrives damaged or leaked, please notify us within 5 days of delivery.
  • If your order is marked as delivered but hasn’t arrived, contact us within 5 days of the delivery date so we can assist you.

Returns & Exchanges

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs if the incorrect item was ordered.
  • If Moda Salon shipped the wrong item, return shipping will be covered.
  • Refunds are not available on used items; approved returns will be issued as store credit.

Complimentary Samples & Gifts


  • Every order includes complimentary samples whenever possible. We do our best to match the brand you purchased.

  • Gift with Purchase promotions are available in limited quantities and must be added to your cart at checkout.
  • Only one gift per order will be included.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

Moda Salon ships from Canada.

  • All U.S. orders are shipped with duties and taxes prepaid — no additional charges upon delivery.
  • If an order is refused due to customs fees, shipping costs and any associated charges will be deducted from the store credit issued once the order is returned.

Returns

Return Policy

Thank you for shopping with Moda Salon. Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we are committed to ensuring your experience is smooth and transparent. Please review our return policy below.

Return Window


  • Canada: Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of purchase.

  • United States: Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, items must be in their original condition and packaging. We are unable to accept returns on the following:


  • Gift cards

  • Items marked “Final Sale”

  • Opened liquid products

  • Electrical tools (covered under warranty only)

  • Products returned due to allergies, skin reactions, or scalp sensitivities

Store Credit Only

All approved returns will be issued as store credit in the form of a digital gift card. Store credit does not expire and may be used toward any future purchase at Moda Salon.

United States Orders: Duties, customs fees, and taxes are non-refundable. For U.S. returns, these charges—along with a flat $9.99 return shipping fee—will be deducted from the store credit issued. If a shipment is refused at customs, the same deductions will apply.

Electrical Tools

All electrical tools are final sale. However, Moda Salon will honor the manufacturer’s one-year warranty from the date of purchase.


  • Within one year: Moda Salon will assist with a replacement or repair.

  • After one year: Warranty claims should be made directly with the manufacturer.

Defective Items

If a product arrives defective:


  1. Contact us at support@modasalon.ca with your order number, purchase date, and details of the issue (including photos if possible).

  2. If approved, we will provide instructions for return.


    Canada: A prepaid Canada Post label will be issued. A flat fee of $9.99 will be deducted from the store credit unless the product is defective, in which case the fee is waived.


    United States: Customers are responsible for return shipping and any applicable duties or customs charges. A $9.99 fee and duties/taxes will be deducted from the store credit.


  3. A replacement or store credit will be issued once the defective product has been received and inspected.

Return Shipping


  • Canada: Prepaid return labels are available for a flat fee of $9.99, deducted from the store credit.

  • United States: Customers are responsible for arranging return shipping. Duties or customs charges will be deducted from the store credit.

Final Sale Items

Products marked as clearance or final sale are not eligible for return or exchange.

For hygiene & safety, we cannot resell any opened, used, or damaged topical products—so we only accept returns of unopened, unused, and sealed items.

Price Adjustment Policy

We totally get it—timing is everything!

If you purchased an item and it goes on sale within 7 days of your original order date, we’re happy to honour the price difference in the form of a Moda Salon store credit.

To request a price adjustment, simply email us at support@modasalon.ca with your order number and the item in question. We’ll take care of the rest!
