No — if applied correctly. Root area only, on soaking wet hair, blown out immediately with heat. The formula is heat-activated during the wet-to-dry transition and vanishes into the hair. It is applying it to damp hair or the lengths that creates heaviness, not the product itself.
No, not ideally. Body Mass is heat-activated — it needs the wet-to-dry blow-dry transition to perform properly. For air-dry volume and lift, Anti Gravity is a better fit. It delivers a similar lightweight fullness without requiring heat.
Body Mass is lighter and focused on root lift before blow-drying — it is a daily step in the PLUMPING routine for fine hair that wants more body. Thick Again is richer and formulated for hair with more significant thinning or density loss. If you are not sure which applies to you, start with Body Mass and move to Thick Again if you want more intensive support.
Start with a 10 to 20 cent piece in your palm — less than you think. Body Mass goes on wet hair at the root and a little spreads further than expected. Apply with fingers directly to the root area, focusing on the crown and any flat zones, and blow-dry immediately. Build up only if the result is not quite enough.
