The solution is water, not more shampoo — fully saturate the hair and emulsify a small amount in your palms with a splash of water before applying. The clean result is the same.
    Yes — though for best smoothing treatment longevity, Cezanne recommends the matching conditioner. If you use a different conditioner, avoid anything containing sulfates, sodium chloride or parabens as these shorten the life of a smoothing treatment.
