Identical formula — same Regenerative Organic Certified Black Chickpea Extract, same anti-breakage polysaccharide film and antioxidant protection. The only difference is size and value per wash. The 1000ml works out to roughly 30% less per wash than the 250ml.
For long hair using around 20ml of shampoo and 25–30ml of conditioner per wash, 1000ml of each gives roughly 40–50 washes. Washing two to three times a week, that's four to five months per bottle — the litre makes financial sense for anyone committed to the MELU system.
Strongly recommended. A 1L bottle without a pump is heavy and awkward to control in the shower, especially when distributing shampoo evenly through long hair. The pump also prevents over-dispensing, which is how clients go through large sizes faster than expected.
Colour-safe. Colour-treated long hair carries the highest combined breakage risk — chemical processing weakens the cuticle, length means the ends have had the most cumulative damage, and heat styling adds daily stress. The MELU anti-breakage system is specifically built for this combination.
