If you have invested in a Davines 1000ml Essential Haircare bottle, the pump is the part that makes the format actually work. Without it you are tipping a heavy litre bottle over a shower basin every wash, which means inconsistent amounts, product running down the outside, the bottle eventually slipping — and over-dispensing that shortens the life of a bottle you paid a premium for. The pump solves all of that. One press delivers one application. Every time.
These pumps are reusable and built to outlast the bottle. When the bottle is empty, rinse the pump, allow it to dry, and move it to the next one. We sell this pump separately at Moda because it is the part clients most frequently forget to add at checkout when they buy a 1L duo — and it is the part that makes the whole format worth having.
Important: This is the Essential Haircare 2.0 pump. It fits the current 2.0 Essential Haircare 1L bottles. If you have an older original-formula 1L bottle (MOMO, NOUNOU, or LOVE SMOOTH original formula), see the original Essential Haircare pump instead.

⚠️ Unlock the Pump Before You Insert It — Read This First
The pump ships locked. Insert it locked and the locking ring can fall inside the bottle and be very difficult to retrieve. Do this in order:
- Remove the cap from your 1000ml bottle and set it aside.
- With the pump still outside the bottle, hold the base firmly and twist the nozzle head counterclockwise. It will click up into the open (dispensing) position.
- Once unlocked (nozzle raised), insert the pump into the bottle and press down firmly until it seats securely into the bottle neck.
- Prime with 3–5 pumps before first use — the tube is empty and needs a few presses before product flows.
- To lock for travel or storage: twist the nozzle clockwise back down into the closed position.
Moda Pro Tip
Buy one pump per bottle if both shampoo and conditioner are open at the same time — moving a single pump between bottles every wash works but defeats the point. If you're using the LOVE CURL or any other 1L Pro Duo, two pumps is the right buy. When the bottle is running low and the pump tube can't quite reach the last of the product, add a small amount of warm water, swirl gently, and pump out the diluted remainder as a body wash or hand soap. Nothing goes to waste.
How To Use
- Unlock the nozzle counterclockwise before inserting into the bottle.
- Insert and press firmly to seat in the bottle neck.
- Prime with 3–5 pumps before first use.
- One full press = one application. Adjust for length and density.
- To reuse: remove, rinse thoroughly, allow to dry completely before transferring to the next bottle.
- To lock: twist nozzle clockwise into the down position.
