What It Is

Brooklyn Bombshell is applied to damp hair before blow-drying. The volumizing actives are thermally activated under the heat of the dryer, expanding and locking in lift at the root as the hair dries. Heat protection keeps the hair surface intact through the blow-dry process. The result is a blowout with noticeably more body and lift than blow-drying on its own — without stiffness or crunch.

How To Use

  1. Apply to damp, towel-blotted hair from roots to ends.
  2. Rough-dry with fingers to 80%, then use a round brush for the finishing volume.

Both. Brooklyn Bombshell is the spray base applied first, the mousse is layered over it for maximum volume output. Together they deliver more body than either product alone.
The thermal volume actives require heat to activate properly. Air-dried with Brooklyn Bombshell will provide some volume benefit but not the full thermal lift it delivers under a blow-dryer. For air-dry volume, Plus Size Mousse is better matched.

No — the flexible hold formula maintains the lift without creating a stiff or crunchy texture. Hair stays touchable after blow-drying.
