What It Is

Rising Star is the post-blowout lock-in step. After all the volume has been built through the Big Hit wash and style system, Rising Star holds it there. A fine-mist spray that lifts at the root and sets the volume with flexible hold — not stiff, not crunchy, just fuller hair that stays lifted through the day without needing to be touched up.

Can also be used on its own as a quick root-lift spray between washes.

How To Use

  1. After styling, lift sections at the root and spray from 15–20cm distance.

Yes — spray at the roots (upside-down for direct root contact) to refresh volume on day 2 or 3. Works well alongside Perk Up Dry Shampoo for a complete between-wash refresh.
With regular washing, no. If you’re using it daily and washing 2-3 times a week, a monthly clarifying wash with Amika Reset Clarifying Gel Shampoo will clear any accumulation.
The volumizing polymers are most effective on fine to medium hair. On thick hair, Fluxus (flexible hold) or Headstrong (strong hold) are better matched finishing sprays.
