Which color line does Moda Salon use?
We proudly use Davines color products, known for their high-performance formulas and commitment to sustainable beauty. Davines delivers stunning, vibrant color results while nourishing hair health, making it a perfect choice for our clients.
What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens! We just ask for 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling, so we can give your spot to someone else in need of fabulous hair. The sooner the better :)
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, and they’re the perfect gift for any beauty lover! Moda Salon gift cards are available online and in salon , ready to bring a little extra joy to someone special.

What if I need an adjustment after a salon service?
Our top priority is for you to leave loving your look! If something isn’t quite right, let us know within seven days, and we’ll arrange a complimentary adjustment to ensure you’re fully satisfied.

Absolutely! We’re passionate about sustainability and choose brands that share our eco‑friendly values—natural, organic ingredients whenever possible, no animal testing, no compromise on performance
Can I get personalized product recommendations?
Yes, dear friend! Just drop us a note via Contact Us or chat with us in‑salon. We’ll ask a few questions about your hair goals and lifestyle, then curate your perfect at‑home routine.
Which brands do you carry?
We curate only the very best: Davines, Kevin Murphy, Eufora, Amika, Sachajuan, and more. Each brand shares our commitment to quality, performance—and where possible, sustainability.
How long do products last?
Most of our professional‑grade products have a shelf life of 2–3 years unopened. After opening, look for the little “PAO” icon (e.g., 12M means 12 months)—that tells you how long to use them once opened.

Orders & Tracking
How do I update my shipping address after checkout?
Email support@modasalon.ca ASAP with the correct address and your order number. If the parcel’s already shipped, we’ll help with carrier options where possible. (not available with canada post)
My order arrived damaged or leaking—how do I report it?
Email support@modasalon.ca with your order number, description of the issue, and photos of the product and shipping box. We’ll review and share next steps. Canada returns typically use a prepaid label; U.S. returns follow the process below.
My package says “delivered” but I don’t have it—what now?
Canada Post- Allow for 24 hours after initial delivery. First check with housemates/concierge and nearby neighbors, then look for a delivery notice or safe-drop spot. If you still can’t find it, contact us within 5 business days at support@modasalon.ca so we can investigate with the carrier.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
We try our best to monitor emails and action the emails as soon as possible. If the order has not been fufiled we may be able to support you! send email to support@modasalon.ca add urgent and order number to the subject.

Shipping
How long does shipping take?
Canada: Most orders arrive in 3–7 business days after shipping. Moda Salon
USA: Chit Chats U.S. Edge typically 4–8 business days after shipping.
Which carriers do you use?
Canada: UPS (currently replacing Canada Post during the labour disruption; Canada Post still used for P.O. Boxes/rural where needed). Moda Salon+1
USA: Chit Chats with final delivery by USPS.
What are your shipping rates and free-shipping thresholds?
Canada: $10 CAD under the free-shipping threshold; free on orders $100+ CAD. Moda Salon+1
USA: $10 USD flat rate under the free-shipping threshold; free on orders $100+ USD. Duties & taxes are prepaid (no surprise fees).

How do I track my order?
You’ll receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships. You can also track your package directly with the carrier:

Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we ship to Canada and the USA.
Returns
Who pays for return shipping?
Canada: A prepaid label is available; a $9.99 fee is deducted from your store credit (waived if the product is defective). Moda Salon
USA: Customers are responsible for return shipping; store credit is reduced by return shipping ($9.99) and a 15% charge for prepaid duties, plus any non-refundable duties/taxes.
How are refunds issued?
Approved returns are issued as store credit via digital gift card (doesn’t expire).

Do you accept opened or used products?
For hygiene & safety, we cannot resell any opened, used, or damaged topical products—so we only accept returns of unopened, unused, and sealed items.
Price Adjustment Policy
What's your price adjustment policy?
We totally get it—timing is everything!
If you purchased an item and it goes on sale within 7 days of your original order date, we’re happy to honour the price difference in the form of a Moda Salon store credit.

To request a price adjustment, simply email us at support@modasalon.ca with your order number and the item in question. We’ll take care of the rest!
