Kris is a seasoned stylist and industry mentor with a career that spans decades and continents. He’s trained with some of the best in the business—at the House of Bumble in New York City, the Davines House in Brooklyn, with RICA in Italy, and alongside the Allilon team from the UK, specializing in advanced precision cutting.

This year marks a new chapter in Kris’s journey as he steps into a salon mentor role at Moda Salon, guiding the next generation of stylists while continuing to refine his craft. He also joined the Shokunin team, contributing as both an educator and a session stylist for major events, including New York Fashion Week.

Jessica is our resident expert with a “PhD in hair” (unofficial—but well earned). She’s deeply passionate about the science behind hair—how it grows, how it responds to different products, and how to keep it healthy from the inside out.

With extensive training in colour, scalp therapy, cutting, and wellness, Jessica brings a holistic approach to every service. She’s especially known for her seamless extension installations, along with her love for creating beautiful colour and precision cuts.

For Jessica, great hair starts with knowledge—and her clients trust her to blend science and artistry for results that are both stunning and sustainable.

Angie brings years of experience and a true love for the craft to every client she sees. Growing up with curly hair is what first sparked her passion—and now, she’s become known for her skill in curly cutting, lived-in blondes, and effortless, low-maintenance styles that grow out beautifully.

Her commitment to growth shows in everything she does. Angie has trained with leading educators like Joseph DiMaggio and Kaizen, always pushing her craft forward both locally and abroad. Education isn’t a checkbox for her—it’s a mindset.

Daniella is a passionate, creative stylist known for her thoughtful consultations, strong communication, and versatile skillset. As Moda Salon’s Eufora Educator, she brings a deep knowledge of the craft and a love for sharing that knowledge with both clients and fellow stylists.

She’s our go-to for vivid colours and bold transformations, but her talent spans all areas of cutting and styling. Whether it’s a precision cut or a full creative colour, Daniella approaches every service with care, creativity, and attention to detail.

Above all, Daniella values connection. She loves getting to know her clients and creating a space where they feel confident, heard, and excited about their hair.

Jola brings a wealth of experience, technical skill, and creative vision to the Moda Salon team. With advanced training from the renowned Allilon Academy, her precision in both cutting and colouring consistently delivers standout results.

She’s deeply committed to staying current with evolving trends and techniques, ensuring every client receives a look that feels fresh, modern, and personalized. Known for her attention to detail and warm, approachable energy, Jola creates a comfortable, welcoming space where clients feel heard, understood, and confident in her hands.

Chiara’s journey started right here at Moda Salon’s original Courtice location—and now she’s come full circle. After exploring entrepreneurship, she’s back where her heart belongs: behind the chair, creating beautiful, elevated looks.

With advanced training from Davines, Bumble and bumble, and other top academies, Chiara brings serious expertise in rich, dimensional colour and glam styling. As a Davines Visionary, she’s known for crafting effortlessly luxurious looks—from seamless balayage to red carpet–ready finishes.

Emma is nearing the completion of her apprenticeship, bringing a focused passion for blonding and an eye for detail to every appointment. She’s spent countless hours perfecting her foiling techniques and specializes in soft, lived-in blondes that grow out seamlessly and naturally.

Always pushing her craft forward, Emma is also refining her skills in precision cutting—making sure every client leaves feeling confident and polished. Whether you're looking for bright, dimensional highlights or a subtle sun-kissed glow, Emma’s thoughtful approach and technical expertise make her a rising go-to for customized, beautiful results.

I fell in love with hair and makeup early on through my years as a competitive dancer. I studied hairstyling throughout high school and went on to earn my diploma at a dedicated hairstyling college. Today, I specialize in lived-in blonding, precision cutting, and all things styling—whether it’s a soft blowout or a full glam updo. When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll probably find me at a concert or soaking up a Broadway musical.

Sabina is an emerging talent with a natural gift for hairdressing and a true passion for colour, cutting, and styling. Currently immersed in advanced training, she’s committed to refining her skills through hands-on education and learning from industry leaders.

As she continues to grow, Sabina is now welcoming clients —offering the chance to experience her evolving artistry while she builds her craft. With her dedication, focus, and eye for detail, she’s quickly becoming one to watch.

Lauren is a recent graduate with a growing passion for all things hair. Eager to build a strong foundation, she’s already taken several advanced colour classes and is now diving into the world of cutting.

With a genuine love for the craft and a strong desire to keep learning, Lauren is focused on developing her skills and delivering thoughtful, detail-oriented results. She brings fresh energy, a positive attitude, and a commitment to making every client feel their best.

Kennedy is currently completing hair school and set to graduate by the end of this year. With a strong passion for the industry and a focused drive to grow, she’s already gaining valuable hands-on experience at Moda Salon.

You’ll often see Kennedy behind the chair supporting the team with blowdries, rinses, and day-to-day client care as she sharpens her skills. Her enthusiasm and dedication make her a rising talent to watch—and we’re excited to be part of her journey.

Ashton is our evening client concierge—and a rising star in the making. Currently in high school, she’ll officially begin her hairstyling journey through the OYAP program in 2026, but she’s already getting hands-on experience as she steps into her apprentice training.

In the salon, Ashton is the warm welcome at the front desk. She’ll greet you with a smile, brew your coffee just right, and make sure your next appointment is booked. Behind the scenes, she’s starting to learn the ropes—practicing blow-dries, rinses, and beginning her path toward becoming a future stylist.

Makaela is the heart of the house and the backbone of Moda Salon. As our Head of Customer Care, she’s the one making sure everything runs smoothly—from the little details to the big picture.

She’s the calm in the chaos, the one dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s, and the reason every client feels truly cared for. Whether she’s managing the flow of the day or adding thoughtful touches behind the scenes, Makaela ensures each visit is meaningful, relaxing, and effortless.

Sabrina has been part of the Moda family since 2012—our true OG. After years of working in the salon, she’s now behind the scenes, running the online store alongside Chantelle.

She’s the one thoughtfully packing your orders, making sure every single box feels like a little gift. From the tissue wrap to the handwritten notes, Sabrina puts genuine care into every package that leaves our doors.

She may be behind the screen now, but her heart is still very much at the core of what makes Moda special.
