The E-Lyon® is a digital motor — it spins at higher RPM, maintains its speed under load without power loss, and runs quieter than the K-Advance Plus® DC motor in the Alyon. In practice: the Digitalyon dries faster on thick or resistant hair, stays audibly quieter, and at 395g is 54g lighter than the Alyon. Same 1875W Canadian spec — the difference is the motor technology.
Noticeably quieter — enough that you can hold a normal conversation while it is running. Dedicated acoustic silencing system plus the digital motor's inherently quieter operation. Add the My Melody Silencer for even quieter use if needed.
The Parlux Magic Sense Diffuser With Adapter — adapter included. The Alyon Light Diffuser is not compatible. The MagicCompact® Diffuser is for the ELYSIUM only. Magic Sense is the correct attachment for Digitalyon curly and wavy work.
Narrower, flatter opening that concentrates airflow to mimic a flat iron effect. Use with medium tension on a round brush, pulling slowly down each section — flat, smooth, shiny results without a follow-up iron on most straight or wavy hair.
