No — and that's the point. You book the Signature Scalp Facial. We look at your scalp, ask what you've been noticing, and choose the protocol from there. You never have to pick between Calming, Purifying, Rebalancing or anything else.

Yes. A handheld professional camera lets us look at the scalp and hair up close together, on a screen. It shows things like surface buildup, oil through the root area, dryness and general scalp condition — the same things we'd look at by eye, just magnified.

No. It's a professional visual consultation tool, not a medical device. It helps us see; it doesn't diagnose, detect disease or measure anything. If something looks outside the scope of cosmetic scalp care, we'll suggest speaking with a healthcare professional.

Naturaltech is Davines' professional scalp and hair care system — a family of ranges built around specific scalp needs rather than one universal formula. We select from it after your consultation. Most are available to take home; a few, like the clay cleanser we mix for the reset step and the massage oil, are professional backbar products.

Yes — it's one of the most common reasons people book. We can look at the root area, cleanse thoroughly, and talk through whether anything in your current routine is contributing.

Yes. Comfort-focused protocols are a core part of the service, and the massage tends to be the part clients with tight, uncomfortable scalps appreciate most.

You can absolutely book. Flakes can come from several different things, and dryness and dandruff are not automatically the same. We'll look, choose flake-focused care where appropriate, and be straight with you if it looks like something to raise with a doctor instead.

Yes, and yes. Buildup is one of the clearest things to see on the camera, and the reset step exists for exactly this. Dry shampoo isn't a problem in itself; it just means the scalp benefits from a proper reset more often.

Yes. We can look at the scalp, talk through what's changed and discuss density-support care. What we won't do is tell you why it's happening from a photograph — shedding has many causes, and some of them belong with a doctor rather than a stylist.

No, and we won't tell you otherwise. This is a cosmetic service that looks after the scalp and hair. It's not a treatment for hair loss and it makes no promises about growth or density.

Yes — and more than one. Naturaltech has distinct massage sequences for the welcome, the cleanse, the treatment processing time and the final leave-in, and they run through the whole service rather than sitting in one block. For most people it's the part they remember.

Yes. Your scalp and your ends rarely need the same thing, so we treat them separately — scalp care where the scalp needs it, conditioning or a mask through the lengths.

It includes a professional round-brush blowout, and no — you won't leave damp. A scalp treatment shouldn't mean leaving the salon unfinished.

It depends on your scalp, your routine and what we find. Some people book it seasonally, some monthly, some once to reset and then occasionally. We'll give you an honest answer at your appointment rather than a schedule we've decided in advance.

Yes. We select products appropriate for colour-treated hair, and the service is often a good fit between colour appointments. Tell us when your last colour service was and we'll factor it in.

Yes — and scalp access matters more on dense or textured hair, not less. We section carefully so the cleansing actually reaches the scalp.

Of course. Scalps aren't gendered, and it's a popular booking.

Tell us when you book. Extension method changes what we can do at the attachment area, so we'd rather plan the service around your method than discover it at the backwash.

Please don't book until it's been looked at by a healthcare professional. If we see something like that in the chair we'll pause the service and say so — it isn't something a cosmetic treatment should be applied over.

Booking is available through our online booking system, and yes — we'll always talk through home care. Usually that's keeping most of what you already do, adjusting one thing, and adding something only if it genuinely helps.
