Shipping Policy

At Moda Salon, we strive to make every delivery as smooth and reliable as your salon experience. Below you'll find our current shipping rates, carriers, processing times, and delivery guidelines.

Standard Shipping

$10 CAD flat rate for all orders under $100 CAD.

Free Standard Shipping

Free Standard Shipping on orders of $100 CAD or more.

Estimated Delivery

Estimated delivery within Canada is typically 3–7 business days, depending on your location and the carrier service available.

Carriers

Canadian orders are currently shipped using UPS Standard or Canada Post.

United States Shipping

All U.S. orders are shipped with duties and taxes prepaid, so the price you see at checkout is the price you pay. No surprise charges at delivery.

Processing + Delivery

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Delivery timelines may vary depending on your location, the shipping service selected, weather conditions, carrier delays, customs processing, and peak shipping periods.

Tracking information will be provided by email once your order has shipped.

If there is ever an issue with your order, our team will notify you as soon as possible using the contact information provided at checkout.

During high-volume periods, including Black Friday, Boxing Day, holiday promotions, product launches, or major sales events, order processing and delivery may take longer than usual. We appreciate your patience while our team carefully packs and ships each order.

Address Accuracy + Delivery Concerns

Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address before completing checkout.

Moda Salon is not responsible for delays, mis-delivery, lost packages, or additional shipping costs caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address information provided at checkout.

If you notice an error in your shipping address, please contact us immediately at support@modasalon.ca. We will do our best to update the address before the order ships, but changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has been processed.

Delivery Concerns

If your order arrives damaged, leaking, or with a product issue, please contact us within 5 days of delivery.

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged or leaking item
  • Photos of the shipping box and packaging
  • A brief description of the issue

If your order is marked as delivered but has not arrived, please contact us within 5 days of the delivery date so we can assist you.

Moda Salon is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, delayed, or mis-delivered after being marked as delivered by the carrier, but we will do our best to help you investigate the issue.

Customs, Duties + Taxes

No surprise duty charges for U.S. orders.

Moda Salon ships from Canada.

For U.S. orders, duties and taxes are prepaid and included at checkout. This means there should be no additional duty or tax charges due upon delivery.

For Canadian orders, applicable taxes are calculated at checkout.

Returns + Exchanges

Moda Salon does not offer refunds on products purchased online. Approved returns are eligible for an exchange or store credit only, in accordance with our Return & Exchange Policy.

Exchange requests must be made within thirty (30) days from the date of delivery. Items must be unopened, unused, unwashed, sealed where applicable, in their original packaging, and approved by our team before being shipped back.

Once approved, Moda Salon will provide a prepaid return shipping label for a flat fee of $9.99. This fee will be deducted from your exchange credit or collected before the return label is issued.

If Moda Salon shipped the wrong item, or if an item arrives damaged or defective and is approved by our team, return shipping will be covered by Moda Salon.

For orders shipped to the United States, Moda Salon reserves the right to charge a 15% restocking fee on approved exchanges or returns to help offset the cost of duties, tariffs, customs processing, and cross-border return handling.

Returns or exchanges sent without approval may not be accepted.
