Meadow’s approach

Meadow wants every client to feel comfortable, enjoy the appointment and leave happy with their hair — friendly, patient and easy to talk to is the whole brief. She's an apprentice and open about it: colour and cutting are still ahead of her, so what she does, she does properly. A genuinely relaxing wash, scalp treatments and scalp facials, and a smooth, sleek, bouncy blowout. Blowouts are her favourite thing in the world; she does them at home for fun. Dry, damaged and flat hair are where she loves to work, because that's where a treatment and the right finish show up most. She heads into the OYAP apprenticeship in February, and the look she dreams of doing one day is a seamless, dimensional balayage finished with a beautiful blowout. Outside the salon: hockey, the outdoors, fall walks, cold weather and every animal she meets — with a Strawberry Açaí Lemonade or an iced chai in hand.
