Cica Oil is specifically designed with an ultra-light formula that delivers intense care while preserving natural movement and volume. Its motto is 'heavy on care, light on hair.' Use 1–2 pumps (fewer for very fine hair), keep it to the mid-lengths and ends, and it adds shine and smooths frizz without collapsing the volume.
What is Cica and why is it in a hair oil?
Yes — Cica is Centella Asiatica (also called tiger grass), a plant extract celebrated in skincare for its soothing and repairing properties. Maria Nila brings that same benefit to hair: Cica locks in moisture, protects, and strengthens the hair, and its soothing nature is gentle on the scalp too (which is why the oil sits in the scalp-focused Head & Hair Heal range). It's a skincare-inspired approach to hair care — care ingredients proven on skin, applied to hair.
Can I use it as a heat protectant?
Yes — it offers heat protection up to 230°C, which covers blow-drying and most straightening and curling temperatures. Apply it to damp hair before blow-drying, or to dry hair before using hot tools, and it protects while adding shine and smoothing frizz. So it's both a finishing oil and a styling protector in one lightweight product.
How is it different from the True Soft Argan Oil?
Yes — they're both lightweight but suit different hair. Cica Oil is the ultra-light option, built around Centella Asiatica and designed specifically so fine hair can use an oil without weight; its heat protection is up to 230°C. The True Soft Argan Oil is a slightly richer argan-based oil with heat protection up to 450°C, ideal for dry, frizzy, or thicker hair. Choose Cica for fine hair and weightless shine; choose True Soft Argan for more intensive moisture and higher heat protection.
