Yes — the Sheer Silver Conditioner contains the same violet pigments as the shampoo, so it neutralises golden and yellow tones while it conditions. Using both together gives the fullest anti-brass effect. You can also use the conditioner on its own after a moisturising shampoo for a lighter, maintenance level of toning combined with extra softness — useful on days when you want gentle toning but not the full effect.

Yes — there are two reasons. First, using the conditioner extends the toning through the whole wash for a more even, effective result. Second, and importantly, toning shampoos can be slightly drying, and blonde or grey hair is often already dry or fragile — the conditioner softens, moisturises, and strengthens the hair so it stays healthy alongside the toning. It's the balance of cool tone and soft, conditioned hair.

Use it 1–2 times a week, in line with the Sheer Silver Shampoo. Violet toning is cumulative, so this frequency keeps light hair cool and bright without over-toning. On your other wash days, use a moisturising conditioner like True Soft or Luminous Colour. If your hair is very porous or very light, start with less frequent use and build up.
