The Moda Team Review
This is the trio we recommend to colour clients with fine hair who blow dry regularly. The duo handles the repair and colour protection through cleanse and condition. The Leave-In is what closes the loop — it's the step between rinsing the conditioner and picking up the blowdryer, and it's doing a lot of work in that window. It detangles without pulling, lays the cuticle flat before heat hits it, and carries the same Damage Cure Complex™ as the shampoo and conditioner, so the structural repair continues through the styling phase. Fine hair that's heat-styled daily without a proper prep step breaks down faster than almost anything else. This routine addresses that directly.
All three products share the Sage and Thyme phytoactive base and the Damage Cure Complex™, so the repair and protection work is consistent from first lather to final blowdry. The Leave-In is also suitable for all hair types, which means it works as a standalone styler for clients who want just the prep step. If you use heat tools on colour-treated fine hair and you're not already using a proper leave-in between conditioner and heat, this set is exactly where to start.
Moda Pro Tip
Section the Leave-In spray through your hair before combing — don't comb first and then spray over the top. Wet fine hair is at its most fragile and breaks easily under tension. Spraying first allows the detangling agents to coat the hair shaft and reduce friction before you introduce a comb. On fine hair, use 3–4 light sprays maximum; on medium or thicker fine hair, you can use more. Comb through from ends to roots to avoid additional breakage.
How To Use
- Work the Bodifying Shampoo through wet hair from scalp to ends. Lather well and rinse thoroughly.
- Apply the Bodifying Conditioner from mid-lengths to ends. Leave on for 3–5 minutes, then rinse with cool water.
- Towel blot — don't rub — to remove excess water. Hair should be damp, not dripping.
- Spray the Leave-In Repair Treatment evenly through the length of the hair before combing.
- Comb through from ends to roots, then blowdry or style as usual.
