The My Melody Silencer does one thing and does it well: it reduces the noise your Parlux produces during a blowout without restricting the airflow or adding significant weight. It attaches to the rear of compatible Parlux dryers and works by dampening the motor sound at the intake.

It is worth noting that the Parlux Advance has an incorporated silencer built into the body — so the My Melody is primarily relevant for Alyon and Digitalyon owners who want quieter operation at home without upgrading their dryer. For the Digitalyon, the acoustic silencing system already makes it quieter than the Alyon — adding the My Melody Silencer reduces it further still.
