The Parlux Digitalyon — 1875W, 395g. The first Parlux with a digital E-Lyon® motor: lighter, quieter, and more powerful than the Alyon with 88 m³/h airflow. The lightest professional Parlux ever made. Made in Italy.
The Moda Team Review: When the Alyon Wasn't Enough
The Digitalyon is the Alyon's direct successor — Parlux took everything that made the Alyon the professional standard and rebuilt it around a digital motor. The result is a dryer that is 54g lighter, quieter, and produces more airflow (88 vs 84 m³/h) while running at 1875W on the Canadian model.
The digital E-Lyon® motor is the centrepiece. Digital motors spin faster, maintain speed under load without power loss, and have a longer operational lifespan than traditional DC motors. In practice: the Digitalyon dries faster, handles thick and resistant hair without labouring, and stays quiet enough that you can hold a conversation while using it. The acoustic silencing system is a genuine differentiator — this is a noticeably quieter dryer than anything in its class.
The Air Ionizer Tech has been updated versus the Alyon: the system is specifically calibrated to optimise negative ion emission, combined with an integrated ceramic grill. The result is consistently smooth, static-free hair. The patented HFS (Hair Free System) is carried over, along with a redesigned rear filter that traps more particles — the motor stays cleaner longer.

Moda Pro Tip
The Digitalyon is compatible with the Parlux Magic Sense Diffuser (with adapter) for curly and wavy work, and the Parlux My Melody Silencer for even quieter operation. The new slim straightening nozzle that comes included is specifically designed to create a straightener-like effect — direct the airflow down the section with medium tension on the brush and the result is flat, smooth, and shiny without needing to follow up with an iron.
How To Use
- Section hair and work methodically with the included slim straightening nozzle for smooth results, or switch to a diffuser attachment for curl definition.
- Hold concentrator parallel to the hair shaft, directing airflow down the cuticle.
- Use the cold shot button to lock each finished section before releasing.
- Clean the redesigned rear filter regularly to maintain airflow and motor performance.
