The MagicCompact® Diffuser is the ELYSIUM's dedicated diffuser attachment — engineered specifically for the ELYSIUM's motor and airflow output. For curly and wavy ELYSIUM owners, this is the recommended accessory: it works with the dryer's airflow rather than against it, producing definition without frizz and volume without disruption.

Compact design means it stores and travels easily alongside the ELYSIUM.

Apply curl cream or mousse to soaking wet hair before diffusing. Attach to the ELYSIUM and use on low speed and medium heat. Hover underneath sections and scrunch upward. Finish with a cool shot to lock definition and eliminate remaining frizz.

Good to Know

No — the MagicCompact® Diffuser is designed specifically for the Parlux ELYSIUM®. For the Alyon and Digitalyon, the compatible diffuser is the Magic Sense Diffuser With Adapter. Using an incompatible diffuser attachment risks a poor fit and reduced performance — use the model-specific diffuser for best results.
Low speed and medium heat. The ELYSIUM's 2300W output on high speed is too forceful for most curl types during diffusing — start low and increase only if needed. Hover the MagicCompact® underneath sections and lift upward rather than pressing directly against the scalp. Finish with a cold shot to lock definition.
Before — apply curl cream or mousse to soaking wet hair before diffusing. Product distributes most evenly through wet hair, and waiting until the hair has partially dried results in uneven application and less definition. Apply section by section, scrunch upward into the curl, then begin diffusing.
The ELYSIUM has a different airflow volume (2300W) and motor output profile than the Alyon and Digitalyon. A diffuser designed for 84–88 m³/h dryers (Alyon/Digitalyon) is not optimised for the ELYSIUM's output. The MagicCompact® is specifically engineered for the ELYSIUM's airflow — the bowl geometry, hole distribution, and root-drying design are calibrated for that dryer's specific output.
Yes — the compact design is specifically intended for travel alongside the ELYSIUM. Both the ELYSIUM and the MagicCompact® are designed with portability in mind. The compact form factor means the diffuser packs easily into a bag without the bulk of standard full-size diffuser attachments.
