Applying more than needed on fine hair will not damage it but will create more shine than most people want for daytime styling. If you are using it on dry hair between washes for frizz and flyaway control, one pump is enough regardless of hair density. Use your palms to warm it before applying; it distributes more evenly as a thin film than applied directly from the pump.
Not the Right Fit If...
If you are sensitive to oils or have a very oily scalp, apply to mid-lengths and ends only and keep away from the root zone.
