What It Is

Velveteen Dream Smoothing Shampoo is the foundation of Amika’s frizz-control system. Smoothing agents in the formula start working from the cleanse step, reducing the hair’s porosity and its tendency to absorb moisture from the air that causes frizz. By the time the conditioner goes on, the hair surface is already smoother and more resistant to humidity than after a standard shampoo.

Suitable for all frizz-prone hair types — from fine wavy hair that puffs in humidity to thick hair that expands dramatically between washes. Colour-safe, sulphate-free, vegan.
