How long does the 1000ml Normcore Duo last?
Yes — with 3–4 washes per week on medium-length hair, each 1000ml bottle typically lasts 4–6 months. The exact duration depends on hair length, thickness, and how much product you use per wash.
Do I need pump dispensers for the 1000ml bottles?
Yes — the Amika Liter Pump Set is the practical choice. Dispensing from litre bottles in the shower without pumps leads to over-pouring and wasted product. Add them to your order.
Should I try the regular Normcore bottles before buying the 1000ml?
Yes — if you haven't used Normcore before, start with the standard sizes to confirm they work for your hair before committing to the litre. The 1000ml is for clients who are already on the system.
Can I mix the 1000ml Normcore Shampoo with a different conditioner?
Yes — you can mix Normcore Shampoo with any Amika conditioner. If you want a targeted conditioner (repair, frizz, volume) alongside the everyday shampoo, choosing the appropriate conditioner from another Amika line is a perfectly valid combination.
