No — The Closer seals and smooths split ends temporarily. There is no product that permanently repairs a split end — the only true fix is a trim. The Closer makes the ends look and feel significantly smoother between cuts, which is genuinely useful.
When in my styling routine should I apply The Closer?
Yes — last. Apply to the tips of dry, styled hair as a finishing step. A small amount worked between fingertips and pressed onto the ends is the right technique. Applying mid-routine or on wet hair is less effective.
Will The Closer weigh down my ends?
No — if used in the right amount. Very little is needed. A rice-grain amount warmed between fingertips and pressed onto the ends is sufficient. Over-applying will make ends look greasy rather than polished.
How often do I need to apply The Closer?
Yes — as needed. The sealing effect holds until the next wash. Most clients apply it on wash day as the final step, and find it keeps ends looking smooth through to the next wash. It can also be reapplied mid-week if ends look rough again.
Is The Closer useful for hair that isn't damaged but just has dry-looking ends?
Yes — dry, rough-looking ends respond well to The Closer regardless of whether they're structurally damaged. The sealing cream smooths the cuticle surface at the ends for a more polished, healthy-looking finish.
