A blowout-prep conditioner with Keratin Amino Acids and Biomimetic Silk that continues the frizz-smoothing work of Blow Dry Wash through the conditioning step — leaving hair softer, more aligned and ready for a polished, longer-lasting blow-dry.
The Moda Team Review
Blow Dry Rinse is the second step in the BLOW DRY system and it does something most conditioners do not: it actively prepares the hair for the blow-dryer rather than simply conditioning and rinsing off. Keratin Amino Acids continue the cuticle-smoothing work started in Blow Dry Wash, and Biomimetic Silk sits on the shaft surface to reduce friction during blow-drying — the structural equivalent of a pre-heat primer on the hair.
Shea Butter and Avocado Oil add nourishment through the mid-lengths and ends so that the hair entering the blow-dry is hydrated, not depleted. Depleted hair is the fastest route to frizz returning within hours. By keeping moisture in the shaft through the conditioning step, Blow Dry Rinse extends the life of the blowout beyond what the styling products applied after the shower can achieve alone.
Why Moda Carries This
As a White Haven Kevin Murphy salon with styling training, we carry the BLOW DRY system because it reflects how we think about blowout technique: every step in the routine prepares the hair for what comes next, and the conditioner is not exempt from that. Kevin Murphy built this Rinse as a partner to the Wash, not an afterthought — and the result when both are used together is measurably different from using either one alone.
Key Active Ingredients
-
Keratin Amino Acids: Continue the cuticle-smoothing and alignment work from Blow Dry Wash through the conditioning contact time.
-
Biomimetic Silk: Deposits on the shaft surface to reduce friction during blow-drying, helping the brush glide more smoothly and the finish set more evenly.
-
Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter: Seals moisture into mid-lengths and ends so the hair is hydrated, not depleted, when heat styling begins.
-
Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil: Penetrating conditioning that reduces the internal dryness causing frizz to return quickly after styling.
Moda Pro Tip
Squeeze excess water from hair before applying — saturated hair dilutes the Keratin Amino Acids before they can deposit properly. Apply from mid-lengths to ends, keep off the root unless the scalp is also dry, leave for one to two minutes and rinse with cool water. The cool rinse seals the cuticle after both the Wash and Rinse steps have smoothed it — do not skip it.
Not the Right Fit If...
If you air-dry or do not use heat regularly, a moisture-focused conditioner like Hydrate Me Rinse or Staying Alive will serve your hair better. Blow Dry Rinse is specifically formulated for the blow-dry routine and performs best when heat follows the wash step.
