Description

A leave-in repair treatment spray that continues the soft-state protein work of the REPAIR ME system on damp hair before styling — heat protection to 450°F, detangling, frizz control and ongoing fibre repair in one lightweight step.

The Moda Team Review

Leave In Repair is the styling-step component of the REPAIR ME system. Where Repair Me Wash, Rinse and Re.Store do the structural repair in the shower, Leave In Repair keeps that work active through the styling process. Applied to towel-pressed damp hair before any heat or styling product, it deposits soft-state proteins that continue fibre repair throughout the blow-dry and beyond, while providing heat protection to 450°F and adding enough slip to make combing and detangling dramatically easier on damaged hair.

Damaged hair has two simultaneous needs that styling products rarely address together: protection from further damage during heat styling, and continued delivery of repair actives. Leave In Repair does both. The spray-weight formula means it does not add the burden of a heavy leave-in on already-fragile hair — it protects, repairs and detangles without weighing down or coating the shaft.

Why Moda Carries This

As a White Haven Kevin Murphy salon, we recommend Leave In Repair as the fourth step in the REPAIR ME protocol — after the shower routine, the styling step should not undo what the shower built. Heat styling on unprotected damaged hair accelerates the breakdown of the repair work happening at the fibre level. Leave In Repair closes that gap.

Key Active Ingredients

  • Soft-state Hydrolyzed Pea Protein: Continues the fibre repair from the shower routine on damp hair before heat is applied.
  • Thermal protectants to 450°F (232°C): Protects the structural repair from heat damage during blow-drying and heat styling.
  • Slip agents and detangling complex: Dramatically reduces combing friction on wet damaged hair — the most common cause of mechanical breakage between washes.
  • Humectants: Maintain moisture in the shaft through the blow-dry process.

Moda Pro Tip

Apply to towel-pressed hair — not soaking wet — section by section before reaching for any heat tool. The spray-weight formula disappears into damp hair and does not need to be worked in heavily. Use a wide-tooth comb starting at the ends and working toward the root after applying — this is where the slip is most useful, and starting at the root and dragging down causes more breakage than the tangles themselves.

Not the Right Fit If...

Leave In Repair is designed for damaged hair within the REPAIR ME system. For fine hair that is not damaged but needs heat protection, Heated Defense is a lighter option. For dry hair needing moisture protection without repair actives, Staying Alive is the better leave-in choice.

How To Use

  1. After Repair Me Wash and Rinse (or Re.Store), towel-press hair — do not rub.
  2. Spray through damp mid-lengths and ends, section by section.
  3. Comb through from ends toward roots with a wide-tooth comb.
  4. Style as usual — blow-dry, diffuse or air-dry.
  5. Use every wash day as part of the complete REPAIR ME routine.
COMMON QUESTIONS

Product FAQ

Yes — both at once. Heat protection to 450°F protects the hair during blow-drying. Soft-state protein continues the fibre repair from the shower routine on damp hair. For damaged hair these two needs are inseparable — protecting what the shower repaired is as important as the repair itself.
Yes — it functions as a standalone leave-in and heat protectant. But it is most effective within the full REPAIR ME system where the soft-state proteins build on what the Wash and Rinse have started in the shower.
No — it is a lightweight spray. Apply mid-lengths to ends only and keep off the root. On fine damaged hair the repair need outweighs volume concerns, and a spray that weighs nothing is the right format.
Staying Alive is moisture-focused: detangling, softness, some heat protection. Leave In Repair adds soft-state protein repair and higher heat protection on top of those benefits. For structurally damaged hair, Leave In Repair is the right choice. For dry hair without structural damage, Staying Alive is sufficient.
Yes — the soft-state protein and detangling benefits apply regardless of styling method. The heat protection is not needed if you air-dry, but the repair and slip are. Apply after towel-pressing and comb through before air-drying as usual.
