Yes — identical formula. The only difference is size and cost per wash. At approximately 30% better value per wash than the 266 ml retail size, the 1000 ml Pro Duo is for clients who have confirmed the Hydrate system is working for their hair.
What hair type is the Pureology Hydrate system best for?
Normal to thick, dry, colour-treated hair. If the hair is fine and dry, Hydrate Sheer is the better fit — it delivers the same moisture and colour protection without the silicone that can flatten fine hair.
How often should I use the Hydrate Conditioner?
Every wash — condition every time you shampoo. Colour-treated hair is more porous than unprocessed hair and loses moisture faster. Consistent conditioning every wash is what builds the cumulative improvement in softness and manageability.
Does the Hydrate system protect colour?
