NOURISHING Vegetarian Miracle Mask
Davines Naturaltech NOURISHING Vegetarian Miracle Mask is an extra-moisturizing treatment mask with Vegetal Keratin and Biacidic Bond Complex — formulated for dull, thick, or unruly hair that needs intensive hydration, structural repair, and frizz control without the fineness of the Miracle Conditioner.
The Moda Team Review: When Fine Won't Cut It
The Miracle Mask is the counterpart to the Miracle Conditioner — same Vegetal Keratin and Biacidic Bond Complex core, different texture and emollient weight, different target hair type. Where the Conditioner is calibrated for fine or fragile hair that can't carry heaviness, the Mask is formulated for thick, coarse, or unruly hair that genuinely needs a richer formula to get the moisture and structural repair where it needs to go. Dull hair that feels rough despite regular washing, unruly hair that resists styling, thick hair with visible porosity — this is the finishing step those textures are missing.
It's applied the same way as the Conditioner — to clean, damp lengths and ends, left on for 5 minutes, combed through, then rinsed — but the result is distinctly richer. Hair comes out soft, noticeably smoother, and significantly more manageable. It's an every-wash product for clients with thick or coarse hair, or used periodically for clients who have both fine areas and coarser sections. Vegan, free from parabens and sulphates. Davines explicitly calls out the new NOURISHING formula across the Miracle Mask: Vegetal Keratin seals cuticles and delivers longer-lasting results than the previous generation.
Key Active Ingredient
Vegetal Keratin (Hydrolyzed Rice Protein + Glycine + Lysine HCL) + Biacidic Bond Complex (Maleic Acid + Thioctamidoethyl Dimethylamine Maleate) — The same reformulated dual-system used across the NOURISHING range. In the Mask, the Vegetal Keratin seals the cuticle and fills structural voids while the Biacidic Bond Complex rebuilds oxidative bond damage. The richer emollient system in this formula — heavier than the Conditioner — ensures these actives penetrate adequately through the thicker cortex walls of coarser hair types, where a lighter formula would sit on the surface.
Moda Pro Tip
If a client with thick or coarse hair reports that the NOURISHING system isn't delivering the softness and manageability they expected, the first question is always whether they're using the Conditioner instead of the Mask. The Conditioner won't provide enough moisture saturation for a thick hair type — the Mask is what those clients need, and switching it out is often an instant fix.
