The Damage Shield Conditioner plays the same role as the shampoo — it is a protecting product, not a repairing one. Applied after the shampoo and rinsed before the K18 leave-in mask, it adds the conditioning step the routine needs (softness, slip, detangling) without disrupting the pH environment the mask requires to penetrate and work effectively.
The formula provides UV protection and shields the hair against environmental stressors and mechanical damage from brushing and styling. For colour-treated hair specifically, this protection matters — environmental oxidation and UV exposure are two of the main reasons colour fades and hair becomes more brittle over time.
For clients who want a K18 system without the full mask commitment on every wash, the shampoo and conditioner alone provide a meaningful daily protective benefit. The mask completes the repair; the shampoo and conditioner maintain it.

How To Use
- Apply to washed, wet hair. Leave for 1–2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
- Apply K18 Leave-In Mask immediately after rinsing while hair is still damp. Do not rinse the mask.
