How to use
Use it the way we would.
- Apply to dripping wet hair, rake through from roots to ends, then scrunch. Air dry or diffuse on low heat. Scrunch out the cast once fully dry for soft curls.

Ask ModaWill the Curl Corps Gel make my curls crunchy?
Yes — it will create a cast when drying, which is normal for curl gel. Once the hair is completely dry, scrunch the cast out with dry hands for a soft, touchable finish. Don't scrunch before it's fully dry or the definition breaks prematurely.
Should I use the Gel alone or over the Curl Corps Cream?
Yes — both approaches work. Gel alone for strong definition and hold. Cream under Gel for moisture, softness, and hold combined. The layering technique is particularly good for dry or porous curly hair that needs moisture as well as definition.
How much gel should I use on medium-length curly hair?
Yes — a golf ball-sized amount for medium-length hair applied in sections to soaking wet hair. Curly hair needs more product than straight hair because of the surface area of the curl pattern.
Does Curl Corps Gel work for very tight coils?
Yes — appropriate across the curl spectrum from wavy to coily. For very tight coils, apply in small sections with thorough saturation for even coverage and definition.
Can I reapply Curl Corps Gel on second-day curls?
No — Power Hour Curl Refreshing Spray is the better day 2+ option. It reactivates the existing gel rather than adding more product, which would create buildup and a crunchy, uneven result.
