Moda stylist tipMask first, conditioner second — most people do it backwards. Apply the mask to shampooed, towel-blotted hair with no conditioner on it, so the actives reach the cortex without a barrier. Leave the full time (longer on very damaged ends), rinse, then use the conditioner briefly on mid-lengths only to restore slip.

Ask ModaMy stylist used a bond builder during my colour service. Does this replace that, or work with it?
Yes, it works with it. The in-salon bond builder protects during the chemical service; this set maintains and continues the repair at home between appointments. They are complementary, not competing — the home routine is what keeps the salon result from fading over the following weeks.
How is bond repair different from a moisturising mask?
No, they are not the same. A moisturising mask adds water and lipids to the fibre so it feels softer. Bond repair rebuilds the disulphide cross-links inside the cortex that give hair its strength and elasticity. If hair stretches and snaps, it needs bond repair; if it just feels rough, it needs moisture.
The mask is only 100 ml. How many treatments is that?
Yes, 100 ml is enough for roughly six to eight weekly treatments on medium-length hair, applied only to mid-lengths and ends. That is the window in which most clients see elasticity return. The 250 ml size is available separately if you want to continue weekly masking long-term.
Can I use The Kure every wash, or will it build up and make my hair stiff?
Yes, the shampoo and conditioner are designed for every wash and do not build up or stiffen the hair. The mask is the one to limit to once a week — more repair actives than the hair can use just rinse away. If your hair ever feels heavy, use the mask less often, not the daily steps.
How soon will I feel a difference?
Yes, most people notice less snapping and easier wet-combing after the first mask. Elasticity and strength build over three to six weeks of consistent use because bonds are rebuilt gradually with each application. Keep heat low during that time so you are not breaking new bonds faster than they are rebuilt.
