How to use
Use it the way we would.
- Shampoo, rinse, apply a masque or conditioner, then towel-dry.
- Clip hair into sections and apply through each one, mid-lengths to ends.
- Do not rinse. Comb through and style as usual, or use a small amount on dry hair to smooth and protect.

This is a light, fast-drying fluid, and applied over the top of a full head the underneath layers get nothing - which is where most of the breakage lives, because that is the hair taking friction from collars and bag straps. Clip into four, apply through each section, then comb. Everything else layers on top.

Alcohol is the second ingredient. Will that dry out my already damaged hair?
No, not in normal use. Denatured alcohol here is a carrier - it evaporates within seconds, which is what gives the weightless finish on a leave-in that would otherwise sit heavy. It is worth knowing if your scalp is sensitive or your hair is severely dehydrated, in which case pair it with the Structure Repair Masque.
Do I put this on before or after my heat protectant?
Yes, before - and for many people it replaces the separate heat protectant entirely, since Maria Nila rates it to 230C / 450F. Apply to towel-dried hair in sections, comb through, then layer anything else over top. If you flat iron daily, adding Style & Finish Cream Heat Spray over it is reasonable insurance.
At 150ml this is the most expensive product in the range. How long does a bottle last?
Yes, it is the premium item, and on shoulder-length hair used at every wash most people get two to three months. It is a light fluid applied in sections, not a cream you slather on. Using it daily as a dry-hair smoother on the ends will shorten that considerably.
I have fine hair. Will a bond treatment make it feel coated or limp?
No. Maria Nila states this suits all hair types, and the alcohol-based carrier flashes off rather than leaving a heavy film, so it is one of the lighter leave-ins available. Keep it off the roots and to the mid-lengths and ends, and use a smaller amount than a cream would need.
