A concentrated purple toning shampoo that neutralises unwanted yellow and brassy tones in blonde, lightened and grey hair while delivering OLAPLEX bond-care at the cleanse step.
What It Is
Nº.4P is OLAPLEX’s purple shampoo — a toning cleanser specifically formulated for blonde, highlighted, balayage and grey hair that wants to stay cool, bright and brass-free between appointments. The highly concentrated purple pigments neutralise yellow tones on contact, and the OLAPLEX Bond Building Technology continues to repair and strengthen lightened hair during the same cleanse step.
Most purple shampoos tone or condition. Nº.4P tones, cleanses and repairs simultaneously. The formula is concentrated enough that 1 to 2 times per week is the recommended frequency, alternated with Nº.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo on other wash days to avoid over-toning.
Why You’ll Love It
- Highly concentrated purple pigments neutralise brassiness and yellow tones
- OLAPLEX bond care at the cleanse step for lightened hair
- Maintains cooler, brighter blonde and grey tones between appointments
- Pairs with Nº.5P for a complete blonde toning wash routine
How To Use
- Apply to wet hair 1 to 2 times per week or as needed.

- Rinse thoroughly and follow with Nº.5 or Nº.5P conditioner.
- Alternate with Nº.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo on non-toning wash days.
Moda Pro Tip
The longer Nº.4P sits on the hair, the more violet it deposits. Start with 30 seconds on your first use to gauge how quickly your blonde picks up the tone — fine or porous hair grabs colour faster than coarser hair. Work up from there. If your blonde goes grey-blue, shorten the time and alternate more frequently with Nº.4.
Key Ingredients + Technology
Highly concentrated purple pigments plus OLAPLEX Bond Building Technology for toning and strength support in a single cleanse step.
Why Moda Carries This
OLAPLEX is carried at Moda because clients ask for it by name. Nº.4P is the most requested product from our blonde clients after Nº.3 — it is what keeps the tone between appointments without requiring an in-salon toner.
