The volume is there at the end of the blow-dry and still there six hours later. Oil-free delivery is what makes the difference. Yes — both. Kevin Murphy confirms it can be applied wet and dried as desired. Apply to damp hair and air-dry for volume and texture, or blow-dry in for longer-lasting lift. The blow-dry method gives more lasting volume on fine hair.
Can I use Anti Gravity and Body Builder together?
Yes — they layer well. Anti Gravity gives volume and texture through the blow-dry; Body Builder adds hold and fullness. Anti Gravity is more tousled and textural; Body Builder gives a smoother, fuller, controlled result. Layer both to damp hair before drying.
Will Anti Gravity weigh down my fine hair?
No — it is oil-free and formulated for all hair types including fine. Kevin Murphy uses it backstage on fine hair specifically because the Lavender Oil adds body rather than weight. Start with a small amount and build if needed.
Is Anti Gravity Spray the same product as Anti Gravity lotion?
No — different steps, different timing. Anti Gravity lotion applies to damp hair before styling and builds volume through the blow-dry. Anti Gravity Spray applies to dry hair after styling and holds the volume in place. Use the lotion first, the spray after. Both are part of the VOLUME regimen.
Can Anti Gravity be used on thick or coarse hair?
