The Superactive is for androgenetic hair loss — the pattern-based, hormonal, progressive kind affecting the crown, part, or hairline. The Seasonal Superactive is for stress- or seasonally-triggered shedding (telogen effluvium). If thinning is consistent and patterned, this is the right serum. If shedding started after a specific trigger, use the Seasonal Superactive.
Do I need a professional diagnosis before using the ENERGIZING Superactive?
No. It is a cosmetic treatment for androgenetic pattern hair loss that can be used at home. If you are unsure whether your hair loss is androgenetic or stress-triggered, your Moda stylist can help assess at your next appointment.
How do I apply the Davines ENERGIZING Superactive correctly?
Apply to towel-dried scalp in sections after shampooing using the pipette or applicator. Part the hair, apply drops directly to the scalp surface, and massage gently. Leave in without rinsing. Use 3 times per week for the first two months.
Can I use the ENERGIZING Superactive and ENERGIZING Gel on the same wash day?
Yes. Apply the Superactive first in sections directly to the scalp. Then apply the Gel as a broader scalp treatment. Many clients on the full ENERGIZING protocol use both in the same post-wash session.
Will the ENERGIZING Superactive work if I have had thinning hair for many years?
Results vary based on how long follicles have been dormant. Earlier-stage androgenetic hair loss generally responds better. The Superactive is designed to support and slow progression and improve density — not to reverse fully dormant follicles. Consistent use for at least 3 months is required to evaluate the response.
