How to use
Use it the way we would.
- Shampoo and squeeze out excess water. Apply mid-lengths to ends in place of conditioner. Cover with shower cap. Leave 5–10 min. Rinse cool. Follow with Happy Campers if blow-drying.

Mane Attention is a concentrated protein treatment, not a daily conditioner. It delivers a higher dose of protein in a single weekly application than the Ritual Salvation Conditioner provides across regular use. It is not a substitute for the conditioner — it is an addition to the routine used once a week for hair that needs intensive repair beyond what daily conditioning supports.
My hair feels rubbery and stretchy when wet. Will this help?
Yes — rubbery or stretchy wet texture is a classic sign of protein-deficient, over-processed hair. The hair has lost its internal structure and is behaving more like elastic than fibre. Mane Attention is exactly the right product for this — start with once a week and you should notice the texture firming up within two to three treatments.
Can I use Mane Attention more than once a week if my hair is very damaged?
We would not recommend it beyond once a week. Too much concentrated protein without adequate moisture causes the hair to swing the other way — becoming stiff and brittle rather than strong and flexible. Once a week is the intensive step. The other washes should use Ritual Salvation Conditioner and Happy Campers for balanced protein and moisture.
What size should I buy — the 150 ml or the 1000 ml?
Start with the 150 ml to confirm it is the right product for your hair before committing to the 1000 ml. At once-a-week use, the 150 ml gives roughly two to three months of product for medium-length hair. The 1000 ml is for clients who are certain it is working and want the best value per application long-term.
My hair feels better after using this. When do I stop needing it?
Once your hair is consistently strong, elastic and not breaking, you can move to every two weeks for maintenance rather than stopping entirely — particularly if you are still colouring regularly. The ongoing chemical exposure means the hair benefits from regular protein support even once it has recovered. Ask your stylist at your next appointment what frequency makes sense for your specific colour service.
