Ask ModaWhy should I start with a smoothing shampoo if my styler is what controls the frizz?
Because a stripping shampoo increases hair porosity before the styler gets a chance. High-porosity hair takes on more humidity, which counteracts whatever smoothing product you apply afterwards. Starting with a smoothing shampoo reduces porosity at the cleanse step so your styler is working with calmer hair — and lasts longer as a result.
Will this work on fine hair without making it flat?
Yes. Mane Tamer is specifically designed to smooth without heaviness. Keep it at the scalp during the lather and work through the lengths with the rinse water rather than massaging it through heavily. Fine frizzy hair usually needs smoothing at the mid-lengths and ends, not at the root.
Can I use this every wash?
Yes — it is an everyday formula. The frizz-reducing effect builds cumulatively with consistent use.
Which size should I buy?
The 30 ml for a trial. The 300 ml for regular use. The 1000 ml for frequent washers or anyone who wants the best cost per wash.
Should I use this with the Mane Tamer Conditioner or can I use my existing conditioner?
