No. Hydrate Me Wash is sulphate-free and colour-safe, specifically designed for daily use on colour-treated hair. The Kakadu Plum also smooths the cuticle, which helps colour molecules stay seated in the shaft between salon visits.
What is the difference between Hydrate Me Wash and Repair Me Wash for dry hair?
Hydrate Me Wash targets baseline dryness — hair that is naturally or chronically dry. Repair Me Wash targets hair that is dry because it is damaged or over-processed from chemical services. If your ends snap during combing or you are recovering from significant lightening, Repair Me Wash is the better fit. If your hair is simply always thirsty regardless of damage, Hydrate Me Wash is the one.
I have fine hair that also gets dry. Is Hydrate Me Wash too heavy for me?
Possibly. Hydrate Me Wash is best suited to medium or thick dry hair. For fine, dry hair, we recommend using Hydrate Me Wash at the scalp and lengths but following with the ANGEL Rinse rather than Hydrate Me Rinse — the ANGEL conditioner is lighter and will not flatten fine hair. If your fine hair is also damaged, Repair Me Rinse is another option for the ends.
Does the 60-second contact time actually make a difference?
Yes, for very dry hair. Evening Primrose Oil needs time to penetrate the cuticle and begin attracting moisture molecules to the shaft. A quick rinse limits the formula. Apply, massage, wait a full minute, then rinse — particularly on days when hair feels especially tight or dull.
Which size should I start with — 40 ml, 250 ml or 1000 ml?
Start with the 40 ml to test compatibility with your hair before committing. The 250 ml is the everyday size and lasts most clients 6 to 8 weeks with daily use. The 1000 ml is the best value if you already know the formula works for your hair and want to run the routine uninterrupted.
