Start with the 250 ml if you have not used the SMOOTH AGAIN system before. Use it for 6 to 8 weeks to confirm the formulas work for your hair. If you love them, the Pro Duo is significantly better value per wash.
Do I also need Smooth Again Treatment or is this duo enough?
The duo is a complete shower routine. Add the Treatment if your frizz returns between styling sessions — it creates a humidity barrier that protects the smooth result through the day. Most thick-haired clients in humid conditions benefit from all three steps.
I have thick colour-treated hair. Is this duo safe post-colour?
Yes — both are sulphate-free and colour-safe. Sulphate-free shampoo is what your stylist recommends post-colour to extend the service. The frizz control in Smooth Again Wash and the Biomimetic Keratin in Smooth Again Rinse are compatible with colour-treated thick or wavy hair.
How long will the 250 ml duo last?
Most clients with thick shoulder-length hair get 5 to 7 weeks from each 250 ml bottle. Thick hair typically uses more product per wash than fine hair. The Rinse may last slightly longer since it is applied mid-lengths to ends only.
Does the cool water rinse really make a difference on thick hair?
Yes, measurably. Cool water closes the cuticle scales after the Biomimetic Keratin and Monoi Oil have smoothed them, locking in the result. Hot water re-lifts the cuticle. 10 to 15 seconds of cool water at the end of the Rinse step extends how long the smooth result holds through the day.
