Yes — both at once. Heat protection to 450°F protects the hair during blow-drying. Soft-state protein continues the fibre repair from the shower routine on damp hair. For damaged hair these two needs are inseparable — protecting what the shower repaired is as important as the repair itself.
Can I use Leave In Repair without the Repair Me Wash and Rinse?
Yes — it functions as a standalone leave-in and heat protectant. But it is most effective within the full REPAIR ME system where the soft-state proteins build on what the Wash and Rinse have started in the shower.
My hair is fine and damaged. Will this leave-in make it flat?
No — it is a lightweight spray. Apply mid-lengths to ends only and keep off the root. On fine damaged hair the repair need outweighs volume concerns, and a spray that weighs nothing is the right format.
How does Leave In Repair compare to Staying Alive?
Staying Alive is moisture-focused: detangling, softness, some heat protection. Leave In Repair adds soft-state protein repair and higher heat protection on top of those benefits. For structurally damaged hair, Leave In Repair is the right choice. For dry hair without structural damage, Staying Alive is sufficient.
Can I use Leave In Repair if I air-dry instead of blow-dry?
Yes — the soft-state protein and detangling benefits apply regardless of styling method. The heat protection is not needed if you air-dry, but the repair and slip are. Apply after towel-pressing and comb through before air-drying as usual.
