All three refresh greasy roots, but they have different focuses. The Soothing Dry Shampoo adds scalp care — a cooling, soothing effect that relieves itchiness, with calming ingredients for a sensitive scalp. The Invisidry is the invisible option (no white cast, great for dark hair). The original Dry Shampoo is the strongest and most volumising (potato starch). Choose the Soothing version if your scalp is itchy or sensitive and you want a refresh that comforts rather than irritates.
Can dry shampoo really help an itchy scalp?
This one is formulated to. Many dry shampoos can actually irritate a sensitive or itchy scalp (through alcohol, fragrance, or build-up), but the Soothing Dry Shampoo includes cooling and calming actives — aloe, niacinamide, and antioxidants — that deliver an instant cooling sensation and help relieve itchiness while it refreshes. It's a comfort-focused refresh. That said, for ongoing or severe scalp issues, it complements rather than replaces a dedicated scalp treatment like the Head & Hair Heal Soothing Serum, and a persistent condition should be seen by a dermatologist.
Does it leave a white cast?
It's rice-starch based like the Invisidry, so it's designed to be light and refresh cleanly, but its main focus is scalp soothing rather than being guaranteed invisible. As with any starch dry shampoo, spray from a distance, use a light hand, and brush through to keep it clean-looking. If your top priority is zero visible trace on very dark hair, the Invisidry is the dedicated invisible option; choose the Soothing version when scalp comfort is your priority.
Should I use it with the Head & Hair Heal range?
