Not if applied correctly. Spray from a distance, allow it to sit for 60 seconds before massaging through, and the formula distributes into the hair without leaving a powdery cast. On very dark hair, spray, wait, then massage thoroughly before brushing through.
How often can I use RICA Dry Shampoo between washes?
Once per day between washes is typical. It is not a substitute for washing — it refreshes and extends. Most clients use it on day two, occasionally day three. At day four, a proper cleanse is the right call.
Can using RICA Dry Shampoo regularly cause scalp buildup?
It can if used daily without ever fully washing. Dry shampoo absorbs sebum but leaves residue that needs to be removed with a proper shampoo. Alternating wash days and dry shampoo days, then cleansing thoroughly on wash day, keeps the scalp healthy.
Does RICA Dry Shampoo add any fragrance to the hair?
Yes — it leaves a soft perfumed finish from the Rica Style fragrance bouquet. If you want to enhance the fragrance moment after refreshing, follow with The Hair Brume as the finishing step.
Is RICA Dry Shampoo suitable for thick or curly hair?
It works best on fine to medium hair where the spray can reach the scalp directly. On very thick or coily hair, the spray may not penetrate to the scalp evenly. Section the hair and spray closer to the root in small sections if you have dense hair.
