Can I use this on medium or thick hair, or is it only for fine hair?
No — the Volumizing Blow Dry Mist is specifically designed for fine hair. Medium to thick hair doesn't respond to it the same way and the formula isn't designed for the weight and density of thicker hair types. For volume on thicker hair, a volumising mousse is more effective.
I already use OLAPLEX Nº.6 as my leave-in. Should I switch to the Blow Dry Mist?
Yes — if you have fine hair, the Blow Dry Mist is likely the better pre-styling choice. Nº.6 is designed for medium to thick hair and can be too heavy for fine hair, reducing the volume you're trying to build. The Blow Dry Mist is specifically designed for fine hair volume.
Does OLAPLEX Volumizing Blow Dry Mist work if I air-dry my hair?
No — this product is designed to work with a blow dryer. The volume-building actives are activated by heat and the directional airflow of blow-drying. Applied and left to air dry, you won't get the same root lift or body result.
