Water Killer is one of the best dry shampoos we have found for clients who actually want to use one regularly rather than as an emergency product. The rice starch formula absorbs oil effectively and dries invisibly on most natural hair colours without the chalky or grey residue that most dry shampoos leave on dark hair. It also adds a genuine texture and grip to the hair — which makes it useful not just for refreshing oily roots but for adding root lift and style grip on second or third-day hair.

The formula comes in the original (suited to blonde and light hair) and a Brunette version specifically formulated to match darker hair tones without any visible residue. If your hair is medium brown to dark, Brunette is the version to reach for.

How To Use

  1. Spray at the root, holding the can 15–20 cm from the scalp.
  2. Wait 30 seconds, then massage in and brush through.
  3. Style as usual. Can also be used mid-length for texture and grip.
