- Shampoo: apply to damp scalp and hair, massage, rinse, repeat if needed. Rich Conditioner: apply to towel-dried lengths and ends, leave 5 minutes, comb through, rinse. Sheer Glaze: apply a small amount through damp mid-lengths and ends, do not rinse, blow-dry immediately.

Ask ModaWhat's the difference between the HOG Set and the HOG Collection?
The HOG Set includes the Sheer Glaze — a leave-in heat protectant applied before every blowdry. The HOG Collection includes the Instant Bonding Glow — a rinse-out bond serum used in the shower for luminosity and bond repair. If you blowdry regularly, choose the Set. If you want maximum in-shower luminosity or prefer to air-dry, choose the Collection.
Does the Sheer Glaze in this set need to be rinsed out?
No — the Sheer Glaze is a leave-in. Apply to damp mid-lengths and ends after rinsing the conditioner, and do not rinse. Blow-dry directly. The Fortifying Botanical Shield activates with heat and protects the hair throughout the blowdry.
Can I add the Intense Treatment to this routine?
Yes — use the HOG Intense Treatment once a week in place of the Rich Conditioner when blonde hair needs deeper repair. Apply, leave 5–10 minutes, rinse, then follow with the Sheer Glaze before blow-drying as usual. It slots directly into the same routine without adding extra steps.
Does the Rich Conditioner in this set contain Vitamin A?
Yes — the HOG Rich Conditioner contains Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A). If you're using other Vitamin A products daily, consider your total intake. The Chelating Shampoo and Sheer Glaze do not contain Vitamin A.
Is this set suitable for grey hair?
Yes — all HOG products work on natural blonde, cosmetic blonde, highlighted, bleached, and grey hair. The Jagua Blue Extract in the Shampoo and Conditioner also addresses the yellow-cast issue common in grey hair, making it a particularly effective choice for clients maintaining silver tones.
