Ask ModaHow long should I leave RICA Cromearth Earth Moon Shampoo on to get toning results?
At least 2–3 minutes after lathering. The pigment deposits during contact time, not during rinsing. If you apply and rinse immediately, you'll get a clean but very little tone. Set a timer — it makes a noticeable difference.
Can I use Earth Moon Shampoo every time I wash, or will the tone build up too much?
Yes, it's designed for regular use — but monitor your results. If you wash daily with 3+ minutes of contact time, tone can build darker than intended. Adjust contact time, or alternate with a colour-safe shampoo without pigment on some wash days.
I've had purple shampoos leave my hair feeling rough and dry. Will Earth Moon Shampoo do the same?
No — this is one of the things that sets Cromearth apart. The formula is built on a conditioning base designed for colour-treated hair. It won't give you that straw-like feeling that makes people abandon purple shampoos. Follow with the Earth Moon Mask for even better texture results.
Do I need both the Earth Moon Shampoo and Mask, or will one alone be enough?
For mild yellowing, the shampoo alone may keep up. For more significant brassiness or bleached hair, the mask delivers concentrated correction the shampoo can't match on its own. Used together, they cover daily maintenance and weekly intensive correction — the most effective approach.
Will RICA Cromearth Earth Moon Shampoo stain my shower or hands?
It can leave a slight tint if left to sit on surfaces, so rinse your shower promptly after use. It's less pigment-dense than the mask, so hand staining is minimal — but rinse quickly after applying if you have very fair skin.
