Why we like it
The Moda Team Review
Fine hair goes flat in the wash, not in the styling — a conditioner that is too rich or a shampoo that leaves residue has collapsed the root before the dryer comes out. This set fixes the whole sequence: a residue-free volumising cleanse, a conditioner light enough that fine hair still moves, and Root Canal to set lift at the root as it dries. It is the routine we recommend before anyone considers extensions for fullness.

The client with fine, shoulder-length hair who asks about extensions for fullness. Before we quote her, we send her home with this routine and ask her to dry her roots upward for two weeks. Most of the time the extensions conversation does not happen. EVO is the family-owned Australian brand we trust for no-fluff results — vegan, cruelty-free, and built to do one job well. The Gluttony range is the volume line that is genuinely light on fine hair. Part of the Holiday 2026 gift collection.

What’s inside — and why it’s there
The ingredients worth knowing.
- Fine hair has a small diameter and low natural stiffness, so any deposit of heavy conditioning agents collapses it. Gluttony uses low-weight cationic polymers

How to use
Use it the way we would.
- Gluttony Shampoo: Wet hair, lather, rinse thoroughly.
- Bride of Gluttony Conditioner: Mid-lengths to ends only, 1 minute, rinse.
- Root Canal: Spray onto damp roots in sections, blow-dry roots upward, then the lengths.
Moda stylist tipRoot Canal on roots only, in sections, and dry the roots first with the dryer pointed up from underneath. Fine hair sets in whatever direction it dries, so if the roots dry flat before you get to them, no brushing brings them back. Lift, spray, dry the root upward, then move on to the lengths.

Good to know.
The questions we hear most about this product. If yours isn’t here, a real stylist will answer.
Ask ModaIs this the same as the Gluttony Volume Collection you had before?
Yes — the same three products, Gluttony Shampoo, Bride of Gluttony Conditioner, and Root Canal, now in EVO's 2026 holiday packaging as The Vanity Volume. If you had the previous collection, this is the restock.
Every volumising conditioner I've tried still flattens my hair. Why would this one be different?
Yes, most do — because they still carry the lipid load of a normal conditioner. Bride of Gluttony is formulated with minimal conditioning weight and relies on quinoa protein rather than oils for softness. Keep it off the roots, use it for a minute, rinse well, and fine hair stays mobile.
Does Root Canal make roots sticky or crunchy?
No, when applied to damp roots and dried in. The film-former sets as the hair dries and is not felt once dry. Stickiness only happens if it is sprayed onto dry hair or over-applied — a few sprays per section is enough.
Can I air-dry with this set, or does Root Canal need a blow-dryer?
No, it does not strictly need a dryer, but it works best with one. Root Canal sets the root in whatever position it dries in — with a dryer aimed upward you control that; air-drying lets gravity decide. If you air-dry, flip your head upside down for the first few minutes.
My fine hair is also colour-treated. Is a volume routine going to fade my colour?
No. The Gluttony Shampoo is sulphate-free, and all three products carry hydrolysed quinoa, which helps colour-treated hair retain pigment. Volume and colour protection are not in tension here — this is the routine we suggest for fine, highlighted hair specifically.
