Ask ModaI have fine hair — will the oil make it look greasy by the afternoon?
No, if you use one drop, emulsify it fully in your palms, and keep it on the ends. Superfruit Star has a lightweight base that absorbs rather than coats, which is why it is one of the few oils fine hair can use daily. The mask is the richer product — keep it to once a week and off the roots.
Can I use Soulfood in place of my regular conditioner?
No, not every wash. Soulfood is a deep treatment designed for weekly contact time, and daily use can leave medium hair heavier than it needs to be. Use it once a week after shampooing in place of conditioner, and a regular conditioner on the other days.
How long will the 50 ml oil last with daily use?
Yes, 50 ml lasts a long time — typically three to four months of daily use, because the dose is one to three drops. The 250 ml mask, used weekly on mid-lengths and ends, lasts roughly three months as well, so the two products run out on a similar timeline.
Does Superfruit Star actually protect from heat, or is it just for shine?
Yes, it provides heat protection when applied to damp hair before blow-drying. The antioxidant superfruit complex reduces the oxidative damage heat causes, and the oil layer slows moisture loss from the fibre. For flat-iron temperatures on damaged hair, add the Blockade Heat Defense Serum as a dedicated barrier.
Is it cheaper to buy the set than the mask and oil separately?
Yes. Both products in this set are the full retail sizes — the 250 ml Soulfood and the 50 ml Superfruit Star — and the set price is lower than buying the two individually. If you already use either one, the set is the most economical way to add the other.
