Ask ModaHow long does one bottle of No. 205 last if I'm using it twice a week as directed?
A 100ml bottle typically lasts 2–3 months with twice-weekly use. The product is applied directly to the scalp rather than distributed through the full hair length, so a little goes further than a rinse-out product. Apply to sections of the scalp with light fingertip massage rather than saturating the whole head.
I use No. 105 Invigorating Shampoo. Do I genuinely need No. 205 as well, or is the shampoo enough?
No. 205 adds something No. 105 can't — a no-rinse treatment that stays on the scalp between washes. No. 105 delivers actives during the wash step, which is brief. No. 205 keeps those actives in contact with the scalp throughout the day. DEPOT® designs them as a synergic system — both together produce meaningfully better results than either alone.
I apply it after showering and my hair feels slightly sticky. Am I using too much?
Yes, that's typically a sign of too much product. No. 205 should be applied in small amounts directly to the scalp in sections — not distributed through the full hair length. Apply 2–3 drops per section, massage with fingertips, and allow to absorb before styling.
Can I apply No. 205 every day instead of twice a week for faster results?
DEPOT® recommends at least twice a week as a baseline for effective results. Scalp treatments are designed to work over time with consistent application rather than through intensity. Twice-weekly use over 2–3 months is the recommended commitment period before evaluating results.
Does No. 205 need to be applied to dry hair or can it go on damp hair after the shower?
Damp hair is fine — applying to towel-dried scalp immediately after washing with No. 105 is the intended protocol. Towel-dry the hair first so the product isn't overly diluted by water on the scalp surface, apply directly to the scalp sections, and massage in before proceeding to styling.
