Yes, for most blondes it can. It deposits a balanced blue-led tone in a conditioning masque rather than violet during a stripping wash, which gives beige instead of a violet cast. Keep a gentle colour-safe shampoo for cleansing and use this as the toning step afterwards.
Does it only neutralise, or does it actually deposit beige colour?
Yes, it does both. Basic Blue 99 cancels the orange, while small amounts of Basic Red 76 and Basic Yellow 57 deposit a soft creamy beige. That second half is why the result looks warm-neutral rather than the flat slate grey a pure blue deposit would give.
What is the real difference between leaving it three minutes and ten?
Yes, there is a meaningful difference. Three minutes removes light brassiness and leaves your blonde largely as it was. Ten minutes deposits enough to visibly cool the whole head and lasts nearer the top of the four to ten wash range. Use three for maintenance, ten for correction.
I had a toner at the salon three days ago. Is it too soon to use this?
No, it is not too soon, but keep it short. Hair is at its most porous just after a service and will take pigment quickly, so three minutes is plenty. Used this way it extends the life of the salon toner rather than competing with it.
Will regular use eventually make my blonde look grey and dull?
No, not at maintenance timings. The small amounts of red and yellow pigment keep the result creamy rather than slate. Grey, flat blonde comes from long applications on very porous ends - keep it to three minutes on hair that is already cool and it will not happen.
